My Favorite Little Girl

I got Sophie all ready today, went and got the camera... and this is what she had done to her new outfit!

So she had to get all changed!

Also, its been headband mania at my house lately :) I've made Sophie all sorts of bows and flowers... and here is my latest creation! A strawberry! It goes so cute with her outfit :)

And Mherra got to wear Sophie's tutu around her neck :)

So, these pictures are mostly for my mom :) Everyday I call her and tell her the outfit Sophie is wearing (since she has bought them all! I'm not exaggerating. I've only bought her two outfits. Ever.)... and then I post them on my blog so she can see :)

Check Up!

Sophie went for a check-up today at the doctors. She is doing a lot better! She still has her oxygen but only needs it if her lips, gums, or tongue turns blue. She is still on her antibiotic too. She looked so cute today! I crocheted her flower :)

Little Peanut

Miss Sophie in her Easter dress. It isn't her actual church Easter dress its just the one she got in her basket... she's wearing the real one next Sunday :) (I had to put pants underneath instead of tights cause she's been sick and I don't want her to get cold!)

Hoppy Easter!!

Little Sophie slept 13 hours last night! She must not have known the Easter bunny was coming!! Here she is woken up... looking for her Easter basket with dad :) The things on the side of her face are the stickers for her oxygen she has to wear at night.

She found her Easter basket in the guest bedroom! She got three outfits from grandma, and some pj's, bubbles, and binkies from mom and dad :)

Next, Mherra found her Easter basket in the tv room! She got bones, Beggin' strips, and easter eggs filled with Canine Carry Out's!

Next, was mom and dad's basket! Dad found it in the theater room downstairs. He got a book a PSP game, and a Hollister shirt from my parents. And I got a purse (which I've wanted FOREVER!) and Cory and I each got a copy of "The Hunger Games." We're going to start having our own little book club! Reading our own copies of the same book, at the same time, so we can talk about it :) Haha! Ok, so it was my idea but Cory is sure being a good sport about it!

12 Weeks Old

My little girl is 3 months old! I cannot believe it. She has been pretty sick with pneumonia but is getting a lot better. She went in on Monday and weighed 12 lbs 12 oz and when I took her on Friday she was 11 lbs 12 oz. Lost a whole pound! I took her in this morning and she was up to 12.2! She gained 6 oz in one day! The doctors were really impressed with how well she was doing.

After her appointment yesterday they were really worried and almost hospitalized her. They had me go to the hospital to get chest xrays and she had traces of pneumonia in her lungs. They had to put her in the most TERRIBLE contraption. I found a picture of it online... so this isn't her, but this is what they had her doing. She hated it. She was crying and I was balling my eyes out.

Her oxygen levels were really low so they had oxygen delivered to our house. She was frustrated with it in her nose at first, but then got used to it. She pulled it out a few times in the night too.

At her appointment the doctor said her oxygen levels were so much better she didn't have to have the oxygen 24 hours a day... only when she sleeps :)
